Our handmade Olive Oil soap is cold processed. Olive, Coconut and Palm Oils are blended with pure spring water and sodium hydroxide. To this we add our proprietary blends of essential oils, various herbs, flowers and earth clays. Our soap moisturizes your skin while it gently cleans. Natural and biodegradable. $6 - 5oz bar. Why Use Olive Oil Soaps? Our natural olive oil soaps are handmade in very small batches using artisan methods which protect the pure skins beneficial ingredients. Our soap is designed to clean and moisturize at the same time and is made entirely by hand from renewable, sustainable and biodegradable botanical ingredients which have been selected for the healing, moisturizing and theraputic benefits. This is a real bar of soap which cleans away the dirt and leaves your skin's immune defenses in tact while leaving a natural layer of moisture on the skin. Most recognizable national brand namebars of "soap" are in fact detergent instead of soap, and strip the skin not only of dirt, but also beneficial bacteria that are needed for immunity as well as robbing skin of needed moisture and protection. Specifically, each soap molecule has a hydrophobic end and a hydrophillic end. One end of the molecule attaches its tail to dirt and grease, and the water loving tail pulls toward the water dislodging the dirt and allowing it to be rinsed away. At the same time aromatherapy benefits are added by the essential oils, skin care ingredients perform their therapies, and a natural layer of moisture is left on the skin to hydrate and protect.
